Because it keeps the whole group gift in one place. The host does not need to chase people manually, and contributors can see exactly what they are supporting before they pay.
You add the child or recipient details, the gift you are raising for, the key dates, and the payout details for where the funds should go. Gifta then takes you through a review step before you publish.
Most hosts will want the child or recipient name, age, photo, the gift details, and the payout information ready. That is usually enough to get your Dreamboard live without much back-and-forth.
Yes, as long as you are the parent, legal guardian, or otherwise authorised to share that childβs information for this purpose.
No. You can contribute as a guest without creating a Gifta account.
Yes. Gifta supports anonymous contributions.
No. The host does not see your individual contribution amount.
Payments are processed securely through Peach Payments. Card details are entered through the Peach checkout flow rather than collected through a basic Gifta form.
Your contribution is recorded only after Gifta receives payment confirmation. That keeps the Dreamboard total accurate and avoids showing a payment as complete before it really is.
The separate fixed Gifta platform fee helps cover payment processing and the cost of running the platform. It is charged separately from the contribution amount.
Yes, if you provide an email address during the payment flow. We will send your receipt there.
Most contributions cannot be reversed once payment is complete. If you need help, contact the Dreamboard host first. If there is a duplicate payment, technical issue, or another clear correction case, email support@gifta.co.za and we will review it.
